An improvement on previous red Saxifrage. Strong, mounding alpine foliage is covered by flowers in spring.

Possible Situation
Ideal for a small alpine bowl with other coloured Saxifragas, Ajugas and Sempervivums or placed in the fringes of the border or rockery.

Ideal Conditions
Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining, soil or compost.

Temperature Tolerance
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially if protected from the hardest frosts.

Plant Care
Protect from scorching sun and drought, as this will turn the leaves brown.
