| Description This 'Flax Lilly' has shiny green, strappy leaves which have varying hues of yellow and red - mostly during the colder months. Short deep red flower stems and blue berries emerge up to 60cm in spring. Also great for larger areas of landscaping due it its tough nature. Ideal Conditions Dianella species are a very drought tolerant species and is happy in free draining dry, or slightly moist soil. Full Sun or partial shade. Temperature Tolerance A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially if protected from the hardest frosts. Plant Care Provide a good mulch or compost when first planted. Will benefit from a fertilser application at least once a year.
